Volunteer

 Volunteers help make Canby Public Library a great place to play, learn and grow. We are grateful to the volunteers who support Canby Public Library and give of their time to support the goals and mission of the Library. 

Opportunities: 

• Shelving, shelfreading, shelf cleaning/straightening

• Preparing craft materials and projects

• Helping with programs and other special events (Requires 20 hours of general volunteering and a background check)

• Retrieving and preparing materials for local holds or transfer to other LINCC libraries (Requires 20 hours of general volunteering and a background check)

Physical Requirements:

We require that volunteers have the physical requirements necessary to properly complete tasks without staff assistance. These tasks may include bending, squatting, reaching, pushing a cart filled with books, and lifting materials.
