Canby Career Center Mission

The Canby Public Library Career Center strives to expand services and support workforce development by providing dedicated equipment, materials, and resources to support job research, in addition to opportunities for assistance with job searching and applications, resume building, interview prep, and skill building.

How do I use the Canby Career Center?

  1. All users will “reserve” a Career Center Computer Station using the meeting room reservation page (in advance or in library).
  2. At the reservation time, the user will check-in at the service desk with library staff.
  3. At check-in time, staff will give the user a clipboard with a small handout that must be completed and turned in at the end of the session. This handout is for grant tracking and data collection purposes. It will also help staff with any needs (number of pages needed to print or supplies needed) the user may have.
  4. Once the handout is completed and turned into library staff, the staff person will release any printing pages (for free) and provide any supplies requested.
