Enjoy Canby: Big Night Out & Cutsforth Car Show Weekend

Downtown Canby has a busy weekend ahead with Canby’s Big Night Out on Friday, August 28 and the Cutsforth Car Show on Saturday, August 29. Canby Area Transit is here to help you enjoy the festivities without the hassle of finding a place to park.

Take the Bus and Skip the Parking Hassle. The Canby Loop is free to ride, making it an easy way to travel around Canby, get downtown, visit local businesses, and enjoy the weekend’s events.

Extended Loop Service for Big Night Out:

On Friday, August 28, Canby Area Transit will be extending Canby Loop service during Big Night Out, with additional late-evening service so you can spend more time downtown and let CAT handle the driving.

Ride free. Ride easy. Ride the Canby Loop. Check out the schedule below!

Wait Park Bus Stop Closed August 28–29

Due to downtown events, the Wait Park bus stop will be closed Friday, August 28 and Saturday, August 29.

Passengers should use the temporary stop located at:

NW 1st Avenue & N. Holly Street
Across from The Book Nook

Please plan ahead and allow a few extra minutes when traveling through the downtown area.

Support Local and Enjoy Canby. Whether you're heading to Big Night Out, checking out the cars on Saturday, shopping, dining, or spending time downtown, consider leaving the car behind and riding CAT.

Take the bus. Skip the parking hassle. It’s free on the Loop.

FOBTOBERFEST September 18th and 19th:

Ride Local. Celebrate Responsibly. Support Your Community.

Canby Area Transit (CAT) is proud to partner with our local community to help make FOBTOBERFEST 2026 a fun, safe, and accessible celebration. This event is about more than great food, music, and festivities—it’s an opportunity to support local Canby businesses, celebrate responsibly, and support the public transit services that connect our community.

Ride CAT and Leave the Driving to Us

Planning to enjoy a beer at FOBTOBERFEST? Don’t drink and drive—ride CAT!

For the event, the Canby Loop will operate extended hours and include an additional stop near the Clackamas County Fairgrounds & Event Center, making it easier to travel to and from the festivities without worrying about parking or getting behind the wheel after drinking.

For community members who cannot access the Canby Loop, CAT will also be extending our regular Dial-A-Ride service for both ADA and General Public riders. Our goal is simple: help you get to the celebration and, most importantly, get home safely.

General Public Dial-A-Ride applications are available at the FOB Taproom or on the Canby Area Transit Dial-A-Ride webpage. We have also just added an electronic application on our website here!

Support Local. Ride Local.

Local businesses help make Canby a great place to live, work, and celebrate—and their support also helps strengthen local transit. When you attend FOBTOBERFEST, shop locally, visit participating businesses, and ride CAT, you're helping support the community that supports you.

Ride Local. Support Local. Celebrate Local.

Enjoy FOBTOBERFEST, celebrate responsibly, and let Canby Area Transit help get you there and home safely.
