Fare Assistance Program

The Canby Area Transit Fare Assistance Program provides support to customers who are not able to pay a fare. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis based on eligibility and available funding.

The Fare Assistance program is currently CLOSED and no longer accepting applications for fiscal year 2025-2026.

Eligibility and Pass Information:

  • Live within the Canby Urban Growth Boundary or an adjacent area of CAT’s 99X service.
  • Meet eligibility of income or participation in an assistance program. 
  • Assistance is provided in the form of Monthly Passes and 24 Ride Punch Passes.
  • A maximum of 6 passes may be granted per application.
  • Single ride tokens or a discount may be available based on circumstances.

**There is a limit on amount of approved applications and passes issued. Once the limit is reached the Fare Assistance program will be closed and any applications pending will be denied.**
