Project Description

Staff have approved an application to construct a professional office building within the Redwood Professional Village 2 subdivision. This 4,990 square-foot office building would be the future home of 10 individual offices, a conference room, and an ancillary cafe. Fourteen parking spaces, pedestrian facilities and landscaping are also included in the proposal.

Visible Mending Workshop

This 3-hour hands-on workshop will demonstrate visible mending techniques.  Participants will each receive a mending kit and manual , needles,  Sashiko thread, etc. Participants are encouraged to bring a garment they would like to work on. There will also be a raffle for books on mending!

Registration required. Space is limited to 10 participants.

Minecraft Club

Join us for Minecraft gaming at the library for ages 8-15 on 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the Month (with the exception of  11/11/2025 and 12/23/2025).

A laptop and the game will be provided. We will play together on the library’s server.

Community Conversation On Accessibility in the Library

The Canby Public Library was awarded a Libraries Transforming Communities: Accessible Small and Rural Communities grant by the American Library Association (ALA)!

Please come share your thoughts on how we can improve accessibility in the library for our community members with limited or no vision and mobility issues.
