City Council Vacancy

The City of Canby is accepting applications to fill the remaining term of an anticipated vacant position (effective December 23, 2022) on the Canby City Council.  Per Canby Charter Chapter VII, candidates will be interviewed and the person selected will be appointed to serve until December 31, 2024.  Qualified applicants must have been a resident of the City of Canby for the twelve months immediately preceding the appointment and be a current registered Oregon voter.

The library is showing 15 unique paintings by Clackamas County artist Lita Colligan through December 28.

Thanksgiving Closure

In observance of the Thanksgiving holiday, the Library will be closed Thursday, November 24th, and Friday, November 25th. The Library will reopen for regular hours on Saturday, November 26th.

Grand Opening: Grant Street Arch + Downtown Quiet Zone

The City of Canby invites the Canby community to attend the Grand Opening of the Grant Street Arch and Downtown Quiet Zone.

Please join the City of Canby on Thursday, November 2nd at the corner of NW 1st and N Grant Street. The grand opening event will begin at 6:00p. The event will feature speeches by City of Canby officials and city staff. After the honorary ribbon cutting, light refreshments will be served.
