Development Review is a range of activities where Planning Staff receive and evaluate applicant submittals for new land uses, buildings, and structures. These activities range from simple Type I site plan reviews for patio covers and signs, to complex Type III and IV land use applications that are brought before City decision-makers for approval (e.g., design review of industrial projects, residential subdivisions, and annexations).

1. Recommendations concerning laying out, sidening, extending, and locating of streets, parking, sidewalks and boulevards, relief of traffic congestion, betterment of housing and sanitation conditions and establishing of zones of districts limiting the use, height, area and bulk of buildings and structures.

In order not to restrict any person from testifying but, rather, to encourage everyone to do so, the Canby Planning Commission shall try to adhere as closely as possible to the following timelines:

Applicant or representative(s) - not more than 15 minutes
Proponent; not more than 5 minutes
Opponents; not more than 5 minutes
Rebuttal; not more than 10 minutes
