Park Facilities

Community Park Storm Debris and Hazards Have Been Cleaned Up
and is Now OPEN!
Park hours are from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm

On April 6, 1994, Canby City Council approved Ordinance No.914 amending the City Park Rules Chapter 12.24, and adopting by reference The State of Oregon Park Statutes Chapter 390.005-390.124 and
Administrative Rules Chapter 736, Division 10 and 15.

Art Park

Corner lot to be developed by Canby Livability Coalition.
Corner of Holly & Territorial Road

Community (River) Park

Situated by the Molalla River (near Safeway) this is a very natural park with picnic facilities, barbecue pits, playground equipment, a ball field and a fishing pond.

Angling restricted to youth age 17 and under or holders of one of the Disabled Anglers permits.  Contact ODFW at
1-800-720-6339 for questions regarding angling or permits.  Fishing regulations can be viewed at

Legacy Park

Adjacent to Ackerman school grounds. Restrooms, playgrounds, soccer fields, and a picnic shelter with a walking path and meditation garden.

Locust Street Park

Features 2 playground areas, restrooms, a basketball court, benches & picnic area.

Logging Road Trail

Linear park stretching from 13th Avenue on the south side of town to Territorial on the North.  A great trail for walking, running or riding bikes. This trail is planned to extend to the Willamette River once development is completed.

(Trail can be accessed at 13th Avenue, SE 4th, and Redwood on the south, as well as several places on the north side.  Parking available at Territorial across from start of the trail)

Maple Street Park

Home of multiple ball fields, tennis courts, covered picnic table area & playgrounds.

(between Territorial Rd and NE 10th Avenue)

Molalla River
State Park

Large undeveloped natural park at the confluence of the Willamette, Molalla and Pudding Rivers. Has picnic facilities, restrooms and boat launch into the Willamette River. Also has duck pond and numerous hiking trails.
Take N Holly Street towards the river.
Watch for Signs to park.

Nineteenth Avenue Loop
Natural Area

Undeveloped park, great place for bird watching and observing the wetlands.

1600 NE 19th Loop

Northwood Park

Northwood Park has dinosaur-themed play structures, a climbing rock, walking path, picnic shelter and green grassy area for play.
1300 N Elm Street

Skate Park

Large outdoor facility for skate boards, in-line skates and bikes.

Canby's skate park became a reality through the efforts of local skaters led by Michaela Carrol, whose enthusiasm and persistence convinced the City to build the park.
1171 NW 3rd Avenue (west end of avenue)

Triangle Park

Small triangular area that houses the City's Sister City Garden as well as plaques and dedications.
Located between Knights Bridge Road
and North Holly Street

Wait Park

Home of the gazebo & playground equipment. Located in the center of downtown Canby, this park is the site of many community events.

The Willamette Wayside Properties adjoining the trail are currently in a public planning process.
