Knights Bridge Park

Knights Bridge Park

Knights Bridge Road

Please note this not a Canby City facility.

Just before its convergence with the Willamette River, the Molalla River slows down into deep pools that are ideal spots to cool off during the hot, mid-summer months. Here, a wide embankment of pebbles next to the river is a great spot to pull out the camping chairs, have a picnic, and simply hang out with good friends. Come early, however, as tall, black cottonwoods line the river’s shore and will overshadow the river by mid-afternoon. Under Knights Bridge on the western edge of Canby, Oregon, this little park can be used for more than just a swimming hole. During times of higher water (fall through spring), Knights Bridge Park is also a great spot to put-in for a paddle. It’s a 3-mile float down to the Willamette and an additional 0.9 miles to the boat ramp at Molalla River State Park.
